Goal

Formalize the Capability Lattice concept as introduced in community-protocol-trust-substrate. The objective is to create a specification that formally maps MCP tool manifests to the type signatures of the underlying rust and C# implementations, enabling static analysis of multi-agent workflows.

Deliverables

  1. Create 01_Wiki/capability-lattice-spec.md. This note should have status: draft and type: spec.
  2. The specification must define:
      • A schema for mapping an MCP tool's inputSchema and outputSchema to a Rust function signature (e.g., fn(Args) -> Result<Success, Error>).
      • An equivalent schema for a C# method signature, including how ASP.NET Core DI scopes might factor in.
      • A formal definition of how composing two agents (an orchestrator and a sub-agent) results in a new capability set, expressed as a type-level operation (e.g., intersection).
      • Example mappings for a hypothetical FileManager MCP server with readFile and writeFile tools.
  3. Update 01_Wiki/community-protocol-trust-substrate.md: Change its status to active and add a reference to the newly created capability-lattice-spec.
